This blog is a semester long project and consists of a collection of short essays analyzing different representations of gender in horror media. Each post will focus primarily on a select few pieces of media and pick them apart in detail. Posts will analyze which stereotypes, framing devices, tropes (or lack thereof) and such are utilized in each piece of media and discuss to what effect they are used.
